All adoptions will require a completed Adoption application.
We are a foster-based rescue, not a shelter, which means we conduct a thorough vetting process including, but not limited to, obtaining references, adhering to landlord policies and conducting home visits. Our rescue dogs are placed in their new homes based on the best fit for the dog’s needs, not on a first come, first served basis. Once your application has completed the review process, we will put you in touch with the foster of the dog that you're interested in to ensure a good match. If it's determined to not be a good fit, our skilled Adoption Coordinators will help match you with one of our other dogs or keep your application on file for up to 6 months. Meet and Greets outside of our public events will only take place once all parties have agreed to a potential match following the foster conversation.
All adoptions will take place at a location determined by the foster and/or Adoption Coordinator based on the dog’s needs, either in Omaha or Lincoln, and must be done in person by the adopting family as we do not ship or deliver pets.
